Where Donations Go

  • Production

    Production covers expenses such as studio and equipment rentals, makeup and hair services, and things that impact the image on the screen.

  • Editing

    Editing expenses will go to hiring a professional colorist and audio engineer to enhance the final visual and audio components of the film. As well as transcriber to handle accurate translation of the film to offer it in both English and Korean languages.

  • Travel Expenses

    Travel expenses will go towards airfare tickets, ground transportation, and accommodations for Sera as well as crew members.

  • Marketing + Promotion

    The success of a film relies greatly on its marketing. We’d like to invest heavily in this sector working alongside a professional marketing team to produce a campaign than is wide reaching and consistent to build interest in the film prior to its release.

  • Music Production*

    *Stretch Goal
    We’d like to product a soundtrack for the film featuring some of Sera’s best recordings remastered along with new and never before released music.

  • Sera Live In Concert*

    *Stretch Goal
    As a way of giving back to fans for their support over the years as well as new supporter, we’d love to produce a small yet intimate concert for Sera taking place in New York City, hopefully in 2026. This would cover venue, marketing, and production costs.

I think Sera's story is one worth telling. Not only to shed a light on her own life, but maybe inspire others in some unique way. It's rare to find a public figure that's so transparent about their shortcomings yet carry on through life with such a strong sense of integrity and courage. That's someone I want to root for.

And that's the idea behind teamsera.

It's a small collective of passionate fans, supporters, and interested parties who want to support a positive cause and an artist they're rooting for. In this case, Sera.
